Intro to Drafting – How Designers Make Drawings
Almost everything we see around us started as a drawing. Drafting is a skill that people use to explain how to create something in a clear way. The skills used in drafting include measuring, drawing, writing, and math. When combined, these drafting skills can turn ideas into reality!
During this two-hour workshop, students age 8 – 13 years will learn about the skills and standards used by designers working in professional fields. With this knowledge, your child will be encouraged to EXPLORE their own IMAGINATION to create their very own drawings – using dimension and scale!
