Shuttle Move
Join the celebration and watch as the Space Shuttle Inspiration makes its way through the streets of Downey! Come out and cheer it on! The journey begins at 9 a.m. on October 17, with the Shuttle traveling along Bellflower Blvd, between Steve Horn Way and Washburn Ave.

Early Childhood Starts
This Early Childhood Program is geared towards young children ages 2-5 years old. STEM curriculum will encourage children to work on fine motor skills, language development, and listening skills, and will expose them to art sensory exploration and pre-writing activities.
The goal of the program is to introduce children to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at an early age. Throughout the 6 week program, children will be exposed to various STEM topics, such as robotics, engineering and botany.
The summer program is scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday, running from July 30 to August 22.
