Astronomy Club Meeting: Telescope workshop
Join the Columbia Astronomers this evening for a telescope workshop!
Anyone thinking about buying a telescope, or just in need of setting up their equipment new or old, is invited to join!
The Columbia Astronomers are skilled to help with Dobsonian telescopes, aligning equatorial telescope mounts, alt/az mount alignments, and more! They can also help you select a telescope especially suited for your home.
In the case of rain, we’ll stay indoors and demonstrate telescope and mount setup. We’ll also get updates about the New Horizons mission and its encounter with Ultima Thule. Hope to see you there!
