Girls in STEM Club

Empowering girls to lead and innovate in the world of STEM!

The Girls in STEM Club is dedicated to inspiring girls ages 8-18 by providing them with exciting opportunities to explore STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Through hands-on activities and challenges, we aim to spark curiosity and empower girls to envision careers in STEM-related areas. Our goal is to foster creativity, exploration, innovation, and the sharing of ideas.

Our vision is to create a supportive community where girls can connect, collaborate, and share resources, fostering growth and empowerment in STEM.

Join the club!

Girls between the ages of 8-18 are eligible to become members of GIS. No prior knowledge or experience in STEM is necessary to join, just a curious mind and an enthusiastic attitude. There are no fees to be part of the Columbia Memorial Space Center’s GIS network which includes resources, the Girls in STEM summits which bring all chapters and members together, and other special events.
